We bought an Ozone 4.4 from a local retailer in May, we loved this tent when we saw it on display, big and roomy and just what we were looking for, went up really quickly and came down just as quick.

We used it twice since we bought it once in Glastonbury and then again in Harrogate, on the third holiday to Bala on the 1st September we arrived on site and set everything up, did all the guy ropes and then went back to put the protective covers on the outside of the tent over the valves on the air beams only to discover that the first beam we went to was bulging near the valve, the material around it looked like the stitching had been torned apart and the inside was exposed, meaning that there was no way we would get the cover on, on checking the other 4 beams we saw that two more had done the same.

Immediately ringing the retailer we were told to return the tent and they would give us a full refund, when we returned the tent we were told that they currently had a pallet of 14 tents to return!

This resulted in a ruined holiday, over a 100 mile journey back and forth to the retailers and back home to get an old driveaway awning which we luckily still had, we then had to set up again in the dark total and utter nightmare followed by a wasted morning of our precious holiday finishing setting up and sorting things out.

Unless or until OR sort out the problems that they apparently have with these tents I would not recommend anyone buy one.

Nearly Ł900 for a tent is a lot of money, which we had no qualms spending on what believed was a tent that would last us for years was well made with good quality fabric and was just what we had been looking for, as things currently stand I would not recommend anyone to buy this or any of the range of OZONE tents.

We've been told that OR was supposed to be contacting all customers who had purchased a tent informing them of the problems some customers were experiencing, we heard nothing, they were supposed to be putting out a statement back in July regarding the problems with the tents, that didn't happen either.

Personally after our experiences of OR tents we would not purchase any other tent/awning from them in the future. Only gave it three stars for the quality of the fabric and the look of the tent.
